About My Order:

How long will my order take?

Orders that include both your prescription and PD will take on average about 1 -2 business days to process for single vision prescriptions and 3-5 business days for progressive prescriptions. If the frame you ordered is not in stock, it is necessary for us to order it from the frame manufacturer. In this case, it may take a few days longer for us to get it from the vendor and to our lab. Sometimes, vendors will discontinue a frame before we can remove it from our site. In these cases, we will notify you immediately after receiving your order about the frame being discontinued. All orders take 1-6 business days to ship. Express shipping is available at checkout. Calling eye doctors may add 2 business days, and orders that are missing important information may require additional time for processing.

How can I give you my prescription?

We can accept your prescription in a few ways:

  • After your order is placed, out optician will email you instructions on how to get your prescription to us.
  • Provide us with your optometrist’s phone number and your birthday. We’ll call your optometrist and obtain it on your behalf.
  • Send us a picture of the RX with your phone and email to info@webeyecare.com. (Be sure to include your order number)
  • Fax your prescription to us at (888) 479-9973.

If you had an eye exam for glasses or contact lenses, the eye doctor must give you a copy of your prescription, as required by the FTC’s Eyeglass and Contact Lens Rule– whether you ask for it or not. It’s the law. The doctor can’t require you to pay an extra fee, buy eyeglasses or contact lenses, or sign a waiver or form in order to obtain your prescription.

What is the status of my order?

To check the status of your order, log into your account and view your order history.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping within the United States (including HI and AK) is free. Express shipping options are available at checkout.

What does my order come with?

Each eyewear order comes with a beautiful hard-shell case and microfiber cloth.

Prescriptions and RX Information:

What is my PD, and how do I get it?

Your PD is the distance between your pupils in millimeters. It allows us to align your prescription perfectly with your unique eyes. Most of the time, your eye doctor will have it on your eyeglass prescription. If not, we may be able to make your glasses using an average PD measurement (based on a survey of 4,000 people). However, an accurate measurement may be necessary and our opticians will advise you if this is the case with your order.

I have a strong prescription, and I need thinner lenses. Do you offer those?

Yes, absolutely we do! We offer thinner, lighter lenses, called High Index Lenses (pl 1.67). We recommend them for all customers with strong prescriptions.

What kind of lenses and AR coating do you use?

Our lenses are made from CR-39, an optical plastic with incredible visual acuity. Every single pair of our lenses includes free anti-scratch costing, and UV coating.

Do you offer bifocal or progressive lenses?

Yes. We offer free-form HD progressive lenses. These lenses are made with the latest in precision computerized surfacing equipment for the greatest clarity and most accurate prescription.

How will my order be shipped?

We ship all of our domestic orders via USPS. When your glasses ship you will receive an email including a tracking number.

Do you offer international shipping, and how much does it cost?

No, we do not offer international shipping at this time.

What is the return policy?

What if my prescription doesn’t feel right?

We would be happy to address and troubleshoot any problems you might be experiencing with your lenses. Sometimes, especially with new prescriptions, your vision might feel a little distorted at first, but your eyes will usually adjust. We recommend, especially if your prescription changed a lot or your frame style/size changed a lot, to wait and start wearing your glasses first thing in the morning and get use to them around the house before venturing out to drive.

I want to buy a second pair of glasses. Do I need to find my prescription all over again?

We keep your prescription on file so that your re-order process can be quick and easy. Just email us after your order is placed, and we will take care of the rest!

What forms of payment do you take?

We can accept all major credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, PayPal, and Amazon Pay) and FSA cards.

Do you offer gift cards?

We do! You can click here to purchase a gift certificate.

Insurance Information:

What types of insurance do you accept?

At this time we can only accept insurance in the form of an FSA or HSA (two types of health insurance which look and act like debit cards). For all other types of vision insurance, we are happy to provide itemized invoices, which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Click here to get more information and to download a form to turn into your insurance company.

What is an FSA or HSA?

An HSA (or Health Savings Account) is a medical savings account of pre-tax dollars, usually offered by some employers. The account allows you to set aside a portion of your wages to pay for health and wellness expenses.

An FSA (Flexible Spending Account) is similar to an HSA with a few key differences, also usually offered by some employers. Those with this type of coverage must use the funds in their account or they will expire at the end of the year.

Warranty Policy:

What does your warranty cover?

A lot of websites that sell eyeglasses only offer a defective guarantee or only partial refund if you want to return your glasses. Not so at WebEyeCare.com. If you do not like your new glasses for any reason – you will get a 100% refund on the frame. We know that for some people buying eyeglasses online might be a new venture. So we want to make sure that you have total confidence that you will not get stuck with a pair of glasses that you don’t like. You have up to 30 days to try them out. Click here to learn more.
